The attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder is a partly genetically inherited variant of the nervous system. The neurotransmitters dopamine and noradrenaline are insufficiently regulated and impair concentration and the stimulus filter. This creates impulsive behavior and disorder, but also creativity, intuition and connectedness.

In children, restlessness and distractibility are often in the foreground, in young people the lack of structure and self-esteem and in adults the secondary diseases (comorbid illness) such as stress, crisis and conflicts.

are a person with ADHD
mostly intuitively connected to the environment and  experience this as natural and normal. In problematic situations can quickly become overstimulated without being able to consciously differentiate. The ADHD person feels overwhelmed with impressions, too  personally attacked and confused.Outsiders criticize the impulsive Reactions, that chaotic and idiosyncratic behavior as lack Behavior or lack of will. This condemnation is internalized, and an inner voice of self-condemnation arises. Self-esteem gets caught in a vicious circle.

How to treat ADHD ?

mytherapeutic approachcombines empathetic cooperation with medicinal support. According to current studies *1 the chances of success are the best.

People with ADHD have a strong sense of togetherness. as
conceptfor children, adolescents and adults I therefore use thecoping strategy, that means an empathetic cooperation. And not only among personalities, but also with the inner personality aspects, als Inner Team so to speakSo  we get to know each other anew, not only the dramatic but also the benevolent voice, and many other characters such as the saboteur, the fighter, the healer. We learn sometimes to direct our inner team, sometimes to tolerate it. And to like it more and more often.

With the coping strategy and the inner team, it becomes concretely tangible what self-esteem and self-confidence actually mean, which can promote the basis for improved balance.
